Emilija Kasumovic, “Inner Senses”
12 January – 4 February 2018
Inner Senses explores the mind and how we relate it to the world. Drawing from the Buddhist tradition of ‘anatta’ meaning no -self, or ‘no essence’, the work delves into the sensory and changeable nature of our existence. As eastern thought and science continue to merge with the ancient humans’ belief that we are all connected beyond our biological bodies, it is only then that we can grow and evolve, and reach for the infinite potential that lays dormant within ourselves.
