‘Six Contemporary Painters’ presents a cross section of contemporary painting practice at an emerging level in South Australia. The artists selected to participate in the exhibition were chosen on the basis of their diversity of practice and dedication to the craft of painting. Each artist, through their unique stylistic, technical and conceptual approach to painting, provides us with insight as to painting today, its relationship to the past and its direction in the future.
