Out of Order

Pat Cassar, Jasmine Crisp, Francesca Narni, “Out of Order”
5 December 2015

Disorder in the natural universe is constantly increasing; order is therefore incredibly unlikely. As Human beings our brains have an inherent desire for order, we are the creators of order.

This exhibition features three emerging artists, (Pat Cassar, Jasmine Crisp and Francesca Narni) whose works, while varied, share the same concept of finding order in the disorder of the human mind, form, nature and condition.

Each work explores the abstraction of this idea either by simplifying what is instinctually unimportant or avoiding explanation entirely. The work relies on an individual’s interpretation, bringing their own perception to something that viewed from one angle is incomplete; viewed from all angles is incoherent.

Exhibition opens: Friday 5th December
